Ms. Paul has been directing transactions and managing real estate since 1989. During her career, Ms. Paul has served as an investment manager for several individual, corporate and pension fund clients, including several trade union pension fund portfolios.

Ms. Paul has significant experience in asset managing all property types, having managed a portfolio in excess of $300 million. She has a considerable background in managing Office Buildings, Retail Centers, Apartments, Industrial Properties and Hotels.

Ms. Paul originates and procures financing for existing and new development projects, most notably bringing her financial and negotiation expertise to close the financing for a $56 million public/private hotel conference center development in Trenton, New Jersey. To date, Ms. Paul has handled acquisition, loan and disposition transactions totaling approximately $130 million.

Ms. Paul also has a significant background in Property Management, having been the former head of the Property Management division of Proquest Commercial Property Management. She established all operating systems and policies and procedures for the division and monitored the delivery and quality of service provided to client properties. Through her leadership, she expanded this division from 200,000 square feet managed to 1.2 million square feet managed.

Ms. Paul is responsible for establishing and maintaining many of the systems and procedures for the Asset Management division and is responsible for reviewing all investment proposals and portfolio and equity reports to ensure the highest standard of accuracy and quality to the firm’s clients. Ms. Paul is responsible for the firm’s internal financial and administrative function, establishing accounting systems related to third party real estate investments. She supervises the accounting department and reviews monthly financial statements and cash flow projections. She monitors the construction draw process and handles all personnel functions including recruiting, salary and benefit administration.

Before joining Milestone in 2000, Ms. Paul was a Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management for Acquest Realty Advisors, Inc. During her tenure with Acquest, she also served as the onsite general manager of the Hotel St. Regis in Detroit. Prior to Acquest, she was Senior Audit Manager for Ernst & Young in Detroit, where she had seven years of public accounting experience in various industries including healthcare, manufacturing and home building. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis in accounting, finance and business law. She is currently a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Commercial Real Estate Women. She holds a Michigan real estate license.
